so i was wondering why my computer was slow. i tried a antivirus but didn't find anything. i tried this.and what do you know it made my computer just as quick as the day i bought it!!!!!!

There is are support sections for the dozens of harvest that Smith Micro distributes on their website, but no support part for this point product.
Downloaded the demo and ran it on my honestly new Vista system. The demo doesn't fix any of the problems it found, which is fine. (After all, they want you to buy the product.)
What troubled me is that the demo refers to every single one of the hundreds of things it claims to have found as an "infection" ...which is ridiculous. Most stray junk in the registry is negligible and harmless.
This dishonest scare tactic, together with the lack of support, made me choose not to buy it. |

| I paid for the full translation from Compusa. Well, it is only a "trial" translation which can not fix any problems. It could not be registered and the install did not question for serial numbers. The help desk submittal system is a bag of maggots and does not allow help tickets to be submitted. They do not respond to emails. So, if you can not catalog, you are SOL. Compusa also refused me a refund, so I am stuck with a worthless product, out [...], and I am pursuing a fraud chargeback with Amex. Several hours and a major headache invested and not anything to show for it. |

Let me first say that I have never had a conundrum with Amazon.
I did buy the Check-it Registry Cleaner, and found it to
be very "unsatisfactory". I PAID for this product. I downloaded
it exactly per directions. It ran, and came up with 600+ errors.
It cleaned the "first 50 errors" and then I got an offer to buy
the "full translation that will remove the left over errors". I then
noticed at the top of the screen that this is a "trial translation".
I paid $28.99 for a trial translation?? I thought there must be some
kind of error, or that I might have done something incorrect when I
downloaded it. I indifferent it from my computer, and started over.
I got the same result....."trial translation". I recommend that you
avoid buying this product. |
